For those of you that don't know, the North American Hairstyling Awards one of the most prestigious awards given in the beauty industry. There are multiple categories to enter, including Contemporary Classic, Hair Color, Avant Garde, and Editorial.
I chose to enter the Contemporary Classic category. The core of my skill set is Vidal Sassoon. I wanted to showcase my ability with clean and beautiful haircuts. I wanted to challenge myself to make a collection that is cohesive, but where each photo can stand alone. I unfortunately did not make the cut of nominees this year. With that said, I am so proud of my work and am going to keep trying until I get there.
